This course explores the rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors, employers, suppliers, and Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees. Both the Workers Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations contain legal requirements that must be met by all workplaces. These requirements protect the health, safety, and well-being of workers and others at worksites. This course will cover how to apply the Workers Compensation Act and OHS Regulations in the workplace, with an emphasis on the jurisdiction of WorkSafeBC. A certificate will be issued upon completion.
