This two-hour e-learning course explores the risk factors associated with ergonomics awareness and builds understanding on how to control these risks, specifically pertaining to musculoskeletal injuries (MSI). This course will provide awareness on proper ergonomics for lifting and stationary work habits, alongside providing resources for determining the risk of injury. Noise Protection Awareness  at Online

This self-paced course provides an introduction to noise in the workplace and explains some of the technical basics of noise. The main focus of the course is hearing loss prevention and the ways to eliminate or reduce noise exposure. This introductory course on its own may not meet noise training requirements in all jurisdictions. It should be supplemented by further instruction and training that is specific to the jurisdiction, job, worksite, and equipment. WHMIS  at Online

WHMIS 2015 is a safety education course designed for employees who work with or around hazardous materials. This certification online WHMIS course takes approximately 1 hour to complete. In this course, participants will learn about WHMIS 2015 alignment with GHS, workplace responsibilities, labels and pictograms used to identify hazardous products, Safety Data Sheets and more. A certificate valid for three-years will be issued upon completion.

Workers Compensation Act / OHS regulatio  at Online

This course explores the rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors, employers, suppliers, and Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees. Both the Workers Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations contain legal requirements that must be met by all workplaces. These requirements protect the health, safety, and well-being of workers and others at worksites. This course will cover how to apply the Workers Compensation Act and OHS Regulations in the workplace, with an emphasis on the jurisdiction of WorkSafeBC. A certificate will be issued upon completion.
